There are an estimated 600 million stray and feral cats worldwide. In the United States alone, roughly 30 to 80 million cats live without a home — exposed to disease, starvation, traffic, and predators every single day.
Shelters are overwhelmed. Rescue organizations are underfunded. Vet bills go unpaid. Spay and neuter programs that could break the cycle of overpopulation are out of reach for most communities. The problem is enormous — and the funding simply isn't there.
Stray Coin exists to change that. Not through charity drives or one-time donations — but through a self-funding mechanism built directly into every trade.
The mission
Stray Coin is a Solana-based meme coin with a real mission. A 5% transaction tax is applied to every buy and sell — 3% goes directly to the Mission Fund, and 2% is added back to the liquidity pool to keep trading stable.
The Mission Fund is used exclusively for cat welfare: emergency vet bills for injured strays, spay and neuter programs to reduce overpopulation, and direct donations to humane societies and rescue organizations.
Every donation is logged publicly on the Donations page of this website — with the date, amount, recipient, and where possible, a photo and story of the cat that was helped. Full transparency. Always.

Stray Coin was created by a small team of animal lovers who believe crypto can do more than make people rich. We're not a VC-backed project. We're not here to flip and exit. We're here because we've seen what happens to stray cats — and we wanted to do something about it.
We operate with full transparency. Every donation made from the Mission Fund is posted publicly. Every milestone on the roadmap is tracked openly. We will never take more than what is outlined in the token allocation — 15% for team and development, vested over time.
We are anonymous by choice — not to hide, but to keep the focus on the mission and the cats, not on personalities. What matters is what we do, not who we are. And what we do is help cats.
